I'm on a highway to hell

You and your 11 year old daughter are fighting because you insulted their dad's gf. You're driving down the interstate when the fight looks like it will become physical. You pull over onto the berm, and your 11 year old and 15 year old get out of the car. You tell them to get back in and they refuse. Do you:

a) Get out and force them back in the car?
b) Stay there and wait?
c) Call the police while you wait?
d) Leave?

Would you answer change if they had or did not have a cell phone?

Based on this.

MENTOR -- The woman accused of leaving her daughters along the side of state Route 2 was arraigned Monday and released on personal bond.

Linda Palecek, 34, of Painesville, is scheduled to appear again in Mentor Municipal Court on May 14. She was charged with child endangering.

Police said Palecek was driving on state Route 2 near state Route 306 March 31 and was arguing with her daughter, 11, after allegedly making insulting remarks about the children's father's girlfriend.

The 11-year-old said she'd rather be with her father so Palecek pulled onto the berm of westbound state Route 2 and a physical fight began. The 11-year-old and the 15-year-old eventually got out of the vehicle.

When Palecek ordered them back into the vehicle, they refused. So she drove off, leaving them by the side of the road.

They called their father, who picked them up 10 minutes later. Police filed child endangering charges against her on April 11.
