Say that you live in a city with five main schooling options. Homeschooling is illegal. Your options are something like:
1. Single-language Montessori school.
2. Bilingual school.
3. Immersion school.
4. Private school (either single or dual language)
5. Single-language state school.
Which would you choose, and why? And how far would you be willing to drive/travel each day to get your kid there?
Inspired by some recent, local debate about schools, and the logistics of organising a birthday party when half of my kid's school friends live an hour away.
