Your child comes home from school and tells you about the new "time out room". The room is about the size of a small closet and is carpeted, the teachers put disruptive children in the room and shut/lock the door. The administration at the school states it is the safest place for "out of control" students. Do you think this is an acceptable way to deal with disruptive students? What would you do if your child was put into the room? Would you go to the police or media with a complaint?

Inspired by this.
